Inspired by the Holy Spirit and desiring to lead a spiritual life by following Jesus Christ more closely and participate in the mission of Christ and Church, especially in amelioration of the poor, homeless, astrayed and needy people, Sri. Joyson C.P and 10 others founded ‘INTERCESSION FOR INDIA PRAYER GROUP’ in the year 2011 in Thrissur with the Patronage of Rt.Rev.Bp.Mar Raphael Thattil and Rev. Fr. Jose Mundadan OFm.Cap (Former Director of Gagultha Retreat Centre Thalakkottukara, Thrissur and Seenai Retreat Centre Palakkad), Rev. Fr. Sajeeve Immatti (the Director of Aabha Retreat Centre Thrissur Arch Diocese) and Rev.Fr.Sebastian Ittiyappara (the Director of Family Appostolate, Arch Diocese Thalassery) as our spiritual Fathers. 

Because of the pious and saintly life of the members of the INTERCESSION FOR INDIA PRAYER GROUP many people joined the group for intercession prayer to attain union with God by rendering selfless services of charity and mercy to the Humanity. In the year 2017 it was registered as a Trust named “IFI Mission”. Our Managing Trustee is Mr. Sunny Kollannur.

The prime carism of IFI Mission is to pray for India by “Reciting one Rosary every day for India”. This intention later led to the formation of a group of people with an intention to pray One Lakh Rosary every day for India in Five years time. Now, more than one lakh and ten thousand people recite one Rosary every day for India for the last 10 years.

After successful completion of the first intention of One Lakh Rosary every day for India, we have started praying ‘One Hail Mary for every Indian” with a target of 138 Crore Hail Mary. We have already crossed Fifty Crore Hail Mary with the help of lay people, Priests and Nuns from all over India.

For the last ten years we have successfully undertaken many charitable activities like daily distribution of Free Food Packet in Thrissur Town for the hungry people, home for homeless, caring of astrayed Akasa Paravakal etc. Once in a month we conduct retreat “YESU NAMA DYANAM” at Kottayam Christieen Retreat Centre. There, we prepare people who are ready to go for intercession prayer to different Indian States.

We are also actively involved in Media Mission with our YouTube Channels like JAINEES MEDIA, JAINEES TV AND IFI MISSION. We have a regular episode in Goodness Channel for introducing people who live as Witness to Jesus Christ. We have completed 350 Episodes.

Since the spreading of COVID-19 pandemic in 2019 we have weekly online prayer with participation of Malayalees from all over the world. We are blessed by the messages and blessings of Major Arch Bishop of Syro Malabar Church Mar George Alanchery, Malakara Catholic Arch Bishop Mar.Baselios Cleemmis, Indore Bishop Mar Chacko Thottumarikkal, Kannur Bishop Mar. Varghese Chakkalakkal and several other Bishops and Directors of Retreat Centers.

Now, we wish to start our intercession prayer centers in different states. As our leader Bro. Joyson discussed with you, we request your esteemed support to start one in Nagaland for your state and for India.
